The Blue Bombers lost at Saskatchewan back in mid-July but the yardage was nearly equal. Winnipeg had a fumble and INT and also turned the ball over on downs one time as well. Winnipeg then lost by just 2 points at Toronto the next week. Since then, the Blue Bombers have won 3 straight games by a combined score of 71 to 34. Sure, all is not going perfect for the Bombers but they are winning even though QB Zach Collaros has not been at his best. Don't be surprised if he comes up big here in the rematch. As for the Roughriders, they have gone 0-4-1 in their 5 games since beating the Blue Bombers. Yes, there were close games in the bunch but going winless for a period of time can really wear on a team. Should we see yet another close game here I am happy to have the 3 points on our side with the Bombers but I absolutely don't expect to need the 3 points that are on offer for this one. Yes the Bombers have gone just 1-4 on the road this season but why do you think this line opened up at just 2.5 on Saskatchewan? Exactly! Don't let the line fool you. Winnipeg is the play here. The Blue Bombers went 14-4 last season and are showing signs, particularly on defense, of returning to top form.
