I like the pitching matchup we have in this game as Texas sends out Cody Bradford, who in nine starts has allowed three runs or less in eight of those nine starts. Oakland counters with Joey Estes, who has allowed three runs or less in 11 of his last 13 starts. This will be the first time Texas has faced him, giving him an added edge. I always say the pitcher has the advantage over the hitters the first time through the league. Look for a pitcher's duel in Arlington tonight. The Aces return home tonight in an angry mood going 1-3 in their L4 games and having blown a double digit lead in their last game to lose 93-90. You know HC Becky Hammon will have this team focused and breathing fire from the start. I expect the Aces to get out and push the tempo against Atlanta. When they play that style and are getting transition buckets Kelsey Plum is the best player on the floor in transition. She knows how to take it to the hoop and often gets the bucket and one or gets to the Foul Line shooting 2 shots. That all adds up to points. Atlanta has to try and neutralize A’ja Wilson which also opens things up for Plum as she moves well without the ball and will have some good looks at 3 when A’ja kicks it back out if they double team her down low. I feel Plum will score 23 or more tonight against Atlanta.
