2% Rotation #780: CFL Saturday 2% BC Lions -150 vs Ottawa Redblacks @ 7 ET - This game being played in Victoria, BC so it is not the true of the Lions (Vancouver) but it is certainly nearby on Vancouver Island and Victoria is the capital of BC. The fact is there will be a huge home edge for the Lions here I am sure and, not only that, their QB (Nathan Rourke) was born in Victoria and this would be the perfect game for him to return to the form he had with BC before having a stint away trying to latch on in the NFL. Rourke is a solid QB and showed flashes in the loss at Ottawa last week. Now he and the Lions get a quick chance at revenge against the Redblacks. Instead of laying the 3 points here or 2.5 with extra juice that is available in some spots, the value of the money line at -150 is the best value on the way to play this one the way I see it. The Redblacks are on a 7-game unbeaten streak but you know that the Lions are, of course, priced as a favorite here with good reason! Don't let the line fool you here. The home favorite is the play as they also have welcomed back a defensive end that is back from the NFL and ready to bolster the D-line of the Lions. The Redblacks are solid team but I don't trust their defense, particularly on the road, and they have been playing over their heads a bit in recent weeks.
