If the Liberty #1 C can’t go (illness-DNP LG) they still rate as a play here partly due to scattered play lately of Seattle. Storm again floundered as -8 here at home Wednesday vs. Atlanta needing late last minute heroics from SG Jewel Lloyd to scrape out an 85-81 non-cover victory. Discrepancy in  3 point shooting prowess figures to be on full display here tonight as Liberty is league’s top scoring team from beyond the arc while Seattle owns league worst 3 pt% (29.2%). With SG Betnijah Laney-Hamilton now back in the lineup for 2nd straight game since injury NY has an additional long range weapon making arsenal deep enough to create issues even if Jones doesn’t play. Storm in the midst of poor stretch where they’re 0-7 ats playing just 1 playoff team (Indiana). Here they catch an irritated New York squad looking to avenge Wednesday night’s lackadaisical effort & su loss in Los Angeles. Expect far more focused group to show up in this one and outscore Seattle by 6+.
