Our selection is on the LA/ Arizona game OVER 8 1 /2

We have a couple of pitchers here that normally we would never touch this game OVER. However both Clayton and Zac are definitely not the pitchers they used to be. Kershaw has struggled with injuries for years now and this year has been no different. He is sporting a 3.72 ERA with a WHIP of 1.41 this season over 6 starts. The Diamondbacks are the best hitting team in baseball against LH pitching and at home they have been really hitting the ball and scoring runs. In fact, the last time the Diamondbacks faced Kershaw in last years playoffs they scored 6 runs and Clayton only had 1 out before leaving the game. Not to say that happens today but we believe they will get to Clayton for a bunch of runs. The Diamondbacks send Zac Gallen to the hill and Zac has struggled these last few months. In July, Zac faced these Dodgers and allowed 3 runs in 4 innings. LA have Betts back and it shows as they have averaged over 5 1 /2 runs a game over their last 8 games. Sometimes getting a key player in the line help makes everyone offensively better. The fact that the total has gone OVER in 5 of Arizona's last 6 games against LA just solidifies our selection.
