Our selection is on Texas A & M on the Money Line minus 145

This is going to be one of the best games on the Week One slate and we will play the Money line here with the Aggies at home. Texas A&M has a new HC in the old coach from Duke, Mike Elko. We are fully aware of all the talk around the Elko and new QB Leonard dynamic and we believe it holds true. The Fighting Irish have QB Riley Leonard transferred from Duke and now plays against his former coach. However, what we believe will be the problem for Leonard besides Elko knowing him so well, is the home crowd at Kyle Field. When looking at Kyle Field it is one of the toughest places in all of CFB for the visitors. Now let’s add National TV and a Saturday night and that place will be on fire from the start. QB Connor Weigman is back for the Aggies and he had this team playing some decent football before being injured last season. The Aggies defense could be something special this year with Elko at the helm. One thing is for sure Leonard will be on the run all night especially as Alt and Fisher have moved on to the NFL. Lots to like for the Aggies in this first game of the season as we believe it may take a little time for Notre Dame to get going even with QB Leonard. We could have had a better line a month ago but we never like to bet too early in CFB or NFL. Too many variables are in play in our opinion especially after what we have seen doing this for over 25 years. The Aggies start the season getting their new HC the victory.
