SEATTLE MARINERS ML
Expect a big bounce back performance by the Mariners in this one after getting crushed last night against the Tigers. Bryan Woo gets the start for the Mariners and he's been one of the most dependable arms for the Mariners this season and earned a no decision facing these Tigers a few weeks back in Seattle, giving up 3 runs in the 5th inning and leaving after 6 2/3, having only gave up five hits. In his previous start on Aug. 2, Woo tossed seven shutout innings against the Philadelphia Phillies. He's also lights out against right handed hitters this season as they are just hitting .176 against him and has yet to give up a Home Run. It's a bullpen day for the Tigers and Skubal pitched last night so I expect more from the Mariners lineup in this one. With Seattle's bullpen getting the night off, I like Seattle to bounce back in this one and limit the Tigers to less than the 21 hits and 15 runs they scored last night. That was an anomaly, back to reality for the Tigers. Back Seattle as they are worthy of a 5% play in this one.
