2% – (919) Tampa Bay Rays at (920) Minnesota Twins Minnesota Twins Total Over 4.5 (-110) Action

We're going to break a cardinal guideline of MLB betting by backing a home squad's team total because Minnesota is simply a different team with a healthy Royce Lewis. Since he was activated from the IL on June 4, the Twins are scoring 5.7 runs per game. Carlos Correa was named the AL Player of the Week after hitting .548 with three home runs last week. In his last 11 contests, Correa has eight multi-hit games. After beating up on the Rockies and A's last week, Correa said, "I love our lineup. I love where we're at right now as a team. We're very confident." That should continue on Tuesday as they face a former AL Central pitcher in Aaron Civale, who they have plenty of experience against. Civale has been respectable at pitcher-friendly Tropicana Field, but away from Tampa Bay, he has a 6.37 ERA with a 1.62 WHIP in six starts. Once considered one of the best units in baseball, Tampa Bay's bullpen has been one of the worst in the league this season. Seven of the Rays' last ten opponents have scored at least five runs. Hitting conditions in Minnesota are expected to be very good this evening. This total is low because Minnesota is the home team not guaranteed to get nine at-bats, but that was also the case for Atlanta against the Rays over the weekend and the Braves hit this mark in all three contests.
