We're slowly getting a large enough sample size between these two teams where we can begin to form the opinion that neither team is very good on offense. Bucknell is averaging 61.6 points per game, and the Bison haven't exactly played a murderer's row of opponents: Delaware, Penn, Niagara and La Salle. Southern Indiana is averaging 65.4 points per game, and that's with a schedule that includes Chicago State (perennially one of the worst teams in the country) and Division-II Tiffin. If you're not hitting 70 points against Chicago State and Tiffin, why should we believe the Screaming Eagles can hit it here against Bucknell? First-year head coach John Griffin has his work cut out for him, but he does have a piece that not many others in the Patriot League will possess: A 7-footer. Latvian sophomore Noah Williamson is still working on his scoring touch, but he will be able to control the paint and rebound for the Bison. Bucknell is No. 332 in the country in KenPom's offensive efficiency and Southern Indiana is No. 322. Both teams are outside the top-200 in effective field goal shooting, two-point shooting, three-point shooting and free throw shooting. Why is this total north of 140? We'll pay to find out.
