UMass Lowell won 26 games last season and it all starts with a 5th yr PG, Hikim, who started 28 games LY and returning starter  Coulibaly who may be the best big man in the conference. The River Hawks play 9 deep and pride themselves on defense and that D has held Dartmouth to 32.7%, Georgia Tech to 371& and Arizona St to 41.3 and all 3 were on the road as the covered all 3!

St Peters went 14-18 LY and they are 1-2 this season with the victory against NJIT which KemPom was #354 in their rankings.

Heading into this season, Coach Duquette said one of the most important keys to success for his team this year would be becoming an elite perimeter defense team. So far, so good, as the River Hawks are ranked fourth in the nation in three-point percentage defense.
