The Oilers appear to have turned things around after getting rid of their coach, and getting Conor McDavid healthy as they had lost 4 straight while only scoring 9 goals in those 4 games.  However, in their last 3 games they have won all 3 and they have scored 4 goals in all of those games.  McDavid has 3 points in those three games, and when he gets going this teams offense can be one of the best in the league.  They are getting a nice matchup with the Lightning who give up quite a few goals.  They have given up 3 or more goals in 8 out of the last 9 and the game they didn't give up 3 was to the young Blackhawks who scored 2.  Edmonton is on the road, but they haven't played since Wednesday so they'll be plenty rested and ready to score today.

Jets over 2.5 -280

I love this Jets play today as they have been scoring lots of goals recently.  They've won 5 out of 6 and scored over 2.5 in all of their wins, and their loss was to Dallas who is an elite team right now, and the Coyotes are not elite.  The Jets are averaging 4.6 goals per game in their wins, and they are favorites today against an Arizona team who has been on the road for over a week.  The Jets are on a back to back, but their game last night was not intense and with the Coyotes playing their 5th road game in 10 days I expect them to be the team that could show fatigue.  We'll take the Jets to rack up the goals today.
