Something I've highlighted on shows since the first night of the CBB season is what rough shape this Fairfield squad is in at the moment
Even with guys like Caleb Fields and Jalen Leach back in the mix Fairfield just isn't a very good team.
The reason for that is this is essentially still last year's middling Fairfield squad playing without Supreme Cook which would have signified a huge drop off for the Stags.
The huge get in the portal that was supposed to replace Cook, Alexis Yetna, still hasn't stepped on the floor for Fairfield. New Mexico transfer Birima Seck hasn't either as he will likely miss a few more weeks with injury.
There will be a point in time where Yetna and Seck come back and Fairfield is likely undervalued due to a string of horrible early season results. Until that time I will continue to bet against Fairfield when the line is right and I think simply asking Queens to win on a neutral floor is a good enough spot.
