Knee-jerk reaction here is to grab Georgia Tech at home as they need one win to become bowl eligible and with Georgia on deck. They better get it this week. Problem is Syracuse needs one win as well to become bowl eligible when both teams have five wins, I like to look to the dog. Offensively Georgia Tech is the better team there is no debating that but defensively Syracuse is ranked 37th while Georgia Tech is ranked 118th. I always say give me the better defense getting points and I’m there. Syracuse broke their 5 game losing streak last week even though it was against a bad Pitt team a win is a win. In horse racing sometimes you need to drop a horse down in class to get a win and regain his confidence. Syracuse builds off of that Win. Syracuse started the season 4-0 but never recovered from losing to Clemson when they turned the ball over 3 times. After the Clemson loss they played N. Carolina and Florida St in back to back weeks. That was a murderous stretch of games so I completely understand how they went on a losing streak. Syracuse is much better than their record would indicate. Georgia Tech should not be laying this big of a number. SYRACUSE 27-24
