This line has been coming down and we agree with the market move in this one. Texas has its fate in their own hands and winning out could put them in the playoff talk. (that is going to be a big mess) The Longhorns did get their QB Ewers back in their last game but they ended up losing RB Brooks after he ran for 104 yards last game. In other words, someone will have to step it up with the loss of Brooks. This Iowa St. team has been in every game this season except against Oklahoma. That does give us a little pause here but that game was in Norman. Coming to Ames is a whole different animal for a bunch of teams throughout the year. There is no doubt Texas can score but statistically the Cyclones are better defensively. Iowa St. is ranked 27 TH and Texas is ranked 37 TH. Since Iowa St. is home this defense we believe will step it up to cover this spread. We do not believe that Iowa St wins but getting a bunch of points in this one with the home dog is where we want to be. The Cyclones are 3-0 ATS the last 3 against Texas so let’s push that to 4 tonight.
