The Terrapins enter play off back to back losses to Davidson and UAB. The lone victory came in non-covering fashion. But this is a veteran team off a terrific season a year ago.
Maryland didn’t shoot well from distance last year, and this club will struggle to reach those expectations. Because of those issues this is a team that will struggle to extend leads.
Villanova despite being 2-1, just lost to Penn as a double digit favorite. They are coming off a terrible season where they didn’t even make the Big Dance.
Kyle Neptune hit the transfer portal hard, and the result is one of the most veteran teams in college basketball. We expect a big rebound out of the Wildcats this year. While we have major questions about the Terrapins, it’s tough to find a weakness in this Villanova squad.
