Temple's defense is awful and rank 7th worst in my numbers. This presents a golden opportunity for UAB, particularly with Jacob Zeno leading the charge at quarterback.

Temple's defense struggles against the pass, as they ranked 2nd worst in the nation in that category. Zeno boasts a 75% completion rate this season. UAB also possesses a respectable ground game and that makes them very dangerous in this game against this Temple defense. UAB has already demonstrated their ability to beat up weak defensive teams, evidenced by their 56-point performance against South Florida, another team in the bottom 10 for defense that faced Zeno as QB.

On the other side, Temple's offense struggled in the two games where quarterback EJ Warner was absent. However, with Warner back on the field, the Owls' offense still sucks. Now UAB isn't the greatest defense, but they have certainly gained some momentum over the last few games.

Bottom line is this UAB offense is in a much better spot to exploit this Temple defense and I have them winning this game by double digits. Temple's offense won't be able to keep up with scoring from UAB in this game. I'm betting UAB to win this game in a blowout.
