Conference USA matchup between two (3-7) teams with no bowl game aspirations buried in a stacked Saturday college football slate. Who would want to bet that game. Exactly! We are hammering this under for a couple key under the radar angles.

First, Middle Tennessee had a much needed bye week three weeks ago and since then have played two games where the defense let up under 20 points combined. Head coach Rick Stockstill who is one of the longest tenured head coaches in the country mentioned how the team needed to change things on the defensive side. It seems to be working in the new approach on that side of the football. 

UTEP is off of a bye week themselves and the Miners have some offensive line troubles. That is something to watch for team that can not really throw downfield and really relies on their running game to control clock. HC Dana Dimmel is one of the more conservative leaders in the game. Four of their last five games have gone under the total.

Three of the last four games between these conference foes have fallen short of the total. The last two fell short of the posted game total by two touchdowns. Quickly played meaningless game with a ton of clock running. Games falls short of flirting with 50 points scored. Bet under.
