1% Oklahoma City Thunder (-3) over Golden State —
I am hesitant to go big with Golden State @ home … but there are a lot of factors that weigh into back the Thunder.
Golden State was an absolute powerhouse at home last season, but this year, they have failed to cover even a single game ATS on their home court (0-4-1). My hesitation in part, is their 8-0 ATS record in the L3Y as a HD.
Yet, Oklahoma City has been a dominant force on defense in their L3 games, holding 3 straight opponents < 42% shooting, and Golden State has struggled to shoot the ball efficiently. On top of that, Golden State will be playing the next FIVE games without Draymond Green thanks to his antics in the last game with Gobert, coupled in with the fact that Steph Curry has been ruled out for this one as well.
They obviously no longer have Jordan Poole, who was one of their leading (backup) scorers last season, this team could have an EVEN MORE difficult time scoring the ball now.
