Scottie Barnes over 3.5 assists v Bucks (-360)

Barnes continues to go over this alt line, and has now gone over in 9 out of 10 games this season, and he’s averaging 5.5 assists this season.  He also is getting a whopping 9.7 potential assists per game so he’s creating good looks for teammates, and tonight he gets to play the Milwaukee Bucks who are 26th in defensive efficiency and they’ve given up 109 to Chicago, 112 to Orlando, 126 to Indiana, 118 to Detroit and 125 to Brooklyn in their last 5 games so I expect there to be plenty of points available for the Raptors tonight.  These teams played earlier this month and Barnes had 5 assists in only 29 minutes and he usually plays 36, but the game happened to be a blowout.  I expect a full workload from him tonight and for him to get over this 3.5 assist line.

New York Islanders under 3.5 team total v Canucks (-230)

The Islanders are really struggling to score these days as they’ve scored one goal in each of the last two games, and they haven’t gone over 3.5 goals in nine straight games.  They are now tied for the 2nd lowest scoring team in the league at 2.36 goals per game, and they get a brutal matchup tonight as Vancouver is playing great defense allowing only 2.2 goals per game.  Vancouver lost 5-2 to Toronto on Saturday, but that’s been the only game in the last seven that they’ve given up more than two goals.  Vancouver rebounded from their loss to Toronto by beating Montreal 5-2, and that was a back to back.  They are rested, and at home so I expect a strong performance from them tonight.
