Northwestern over 20.5
I love getting this number below 21 as Northwestern got quarterback Ben Bryant back last week, and they were able to put up 24 points against Wisconsin in his first game back. He was efficient going 18-26 for 2 td’s and no interceptions, and if you look at the games he’s started, he is able to get this team over 21 points against lesser competition like Wisconsin (24 points), Minnesota (31 points in regulation), and UTEP (38 points). They went under against top teams like Penn State and Duke, but this Purdue team is not in that category. They are 1-4 in their last 5 games, and they’ve given up 31 or more in four of those games, with the other game where they allowed low coring Iowa to get to 20. Purdue gives up an average of 31.1 points per game and 390 yards of total offense, and they are really bad with redzone defense as they give up scores 87.5% of the time which ranks 91st. Weather looks to be great for the game, and Purdue has lost it’s last 3 road games 41-13 to Michigan, 31-14 to Nebraska and 20-14 to Iowa. Look for Northwestern to get over 20.5.
