There aren’t too many teams that have put up numbers like the Texans offense has this season, especially in the last few weeks. They have been dominant, thanks in large part to CJ Stroud and his unbelievable rookie campaign. 

One of the biggest keys, Stroud has thrown 15 passing TDs and 11 of those have came at home, where they are averaging over 27 PPG on the season. Meanwhile, Arizona’s defense has struggled on the road AND against quality opponents … in their L9 games against teams with a winning record, Arizona has allowed 30 PPG on average, with 7 of the 9 going over this number. Factor in that they are playing on the road (6 of the 9 games AWAY) they have allowed 32 PPG!

Kyler Murray and James Conner have seemingly turned things around with the offense, but that doesn’t change the defense and may actually be beneficial to the Texans in this situation … they have seemingly played to the level of their competition and have found a way to win despite what their opponent is scoring. If their opponent is putting up more points, all the more reason for this Houston offense to explode for even more.
