3% Take Chicago (#557)
Milwaukee has been a pointspread disaster area this season. They’ve been an overvalued commodity from Day 1 of the Damian Lillard (he’s probable tonight after missing the last few games) era, covering a grand total of ONE pointspread in their first nine games, and that one spread cover came by a half point! Yes. Chicago is on the second of back-2-backs, but Milwaukee is tired too. This is their fourth game in six nights, and this will be their eighth court change in eight games. Giannis’ quote: “I was tired…it’s shootaround, its lifting weights, it’s recovery.” That’s no ‘bet-on’ quote.
Giannis also laid into Milwaukee’s defensive effort following the loss to the Magic; one of those quotes that has me questioning the Bucks internal chemistry right now with the additional of Lillard and new head coach Adrian Griffin. And let’s not forget this key fact – the Bucks have played nine previous games this year, and they’ve won exactly ZERO of those games by more than eight points. They’ll have to win this one by double digits to cover the spread. And it’s also worth noting that three of the Bulls last four losses have come by single digit margins --- we’re not seeing blowouts against Chicago like we did the first week of the season. Too many points! Take the Bulls.
