3% #264 Las Vegas Raiders (+1) over NY Jets —
This could be a big spot for Josh Jacobs, but regardless, I think this is a perfect opportunity for the Raiders to string together their 4th straight win (and cover) at home. There have been reports of literal parties in the locker room since the team moved on from McDaniels, and I think that energy showed in their last game.
Even with McDaniels this team had won B2B games @ H, but secured their biggest one of the season in their debut without McDaniels. It may not have been the most impressive opponent, but it was by a landslide.
The Raiders are holding opponents under 15 PPG @ H, and are 8-3 ATS in the L11 @ H vs. the Jets. They have covered 9 of the L12 primetime games @ H and are even better in that situation as a DOG (7-1 ATS).
The Jets have continued their woes, and are 0-3 SUATS in their L3 primetime games on the road, and are just 0-3-1 ATS in their L4 games as a favorite. The Jets defense has been better against the pass than they have against the run, but I anticipate the Raiders offense to continue improving.
