We have a “buy low” spot with San Francisco Sunday due to a recent losing streak. There’s all kinds of criticism being aimed at Brock Purdy, who we’ve seen be extremely productive throughout his career to this point. Let’s not forget that the 49ers are still averaging 27.3 points per game, are great on 3rd down, and know how to finish off scoring drives. The Jags aren’t able to generate much pressure on opposing quarterbacks, so Purdy will be able to get back to his usual self. San Fran has an elite secondary, particularly against quarterbacks who like to get rid of the ball quickly. Trevor Lawerence certainly qualifies, and I would be surprised if he’s able to put up solid numbers against what will be a Niners squad hungry for a win. While both teams are coming off bye weeks, expect a bounce back performance from San Fran, particularly Purdy, McCaffrey, and Aiyuk. Take the 49ers.
