Recent Play Details

4% 2-Team, 6-PT Teaser (-120) - BUF w/ SF — 

Last week my teaser led me to a dog and a favorite, this week we are doubling up on the favorites, but bring those lines down a little with some question marks. 

Buffalo (Now: -2) vs. Las Vegas 

• Vegas came away with the close win last week, more-so thanks to their defense. But, Chandler Jones is out for this game, and their biggest offensive weapon last week, Jakobi Meyers, joins him on that list. 
• Josh Allen had one of the most memorable games of his career last week, and not in a good way. If there is any QB that I am going to back to turn that performance around it is Allen, at least at this point in the season. Buffalo’s defense was still pretty impressive in that game last week which can always keep them in the game. 
• Vegas showed their defensive potential in that game against Denver, but this is a much more difficult task. If their defense plays anything like they did last week, or if Allen plays anything like he did last week, then this tease may be necessary. I like Buffalo in this matchup, but with the defensive potential of the Raiders, I would rather be safe than sorry. 
• Finally, a couple Buffalo trends:

    • including 4-0 off a home loss

San Francisco (Now: -1) vs. LA Rams

• There is always the concern for some early overreaction, but the Rams offense looked a LOT better than I would have anticipated in week 1. On the other side, while I am NOT trying to take anything away from the Niners big win last week … lets leave it at, I don’t think the Steelers are going to compete for the AFC North title … 
• The Rams secondary looked good, but this is a big test, and being so young there is always the concern for some growing pains. Their rush defense was the biggest concern in the opener for the Rams, and that isn’t ideal with C-Mac ready to attack out of the backfield. 
• Despite what I said about the Steelers, the Niners looked absolutely dominant in that game. While I don’t think the Rams are going to win the Super Bowl, they CURRENTLY look like a harder test for the Niners in comparison to Pittsburgh last week. This isn’t the same Rams team that we have seen in recent years and I think there may be a little value moving forward with the Rams, as teams underestimate their ability. 
• The Rams have a lot of offensive momentum coming into this game and I think it could carry over. I think this game is closer than one may anticipate, but I think the Niners come out with it at the end. There is the potential that those young receivers and Stafford hook up for a couple more explosive scores in this one though before it is all said and done.
