Our selection is on the Chicago Cubs

The Cubs lost a brutal one last night and we lost another in extra innings. Unfortunately that seems to be a problem for us of late losing these games in extras. Well for the third straight game we will take the Cubs here as a situation we have has them in a good spot. We also have the pitching advantage for the third straight game and as we all have found out sometimes that doesn't mean a victory. We do play the Cubs here as and outright fade of Ryne Nelson. In the first game of this series we went against a bad pitcher and he looked like Nolan Ryan hopefully that doesn't happen again tonight for Ryne. Nelson has been horrific at home sporting a 8.59 ERA with a WHIP of 1.95. In his last 3 starts he has a 9.00 ERA with a WHIP of 1.61. The Cubs send Jordan Wicks to the hill and since he was called up from Iowa he has been pitching lights out. He has a 2.04 ERA with a WHIP of 1.18. Since the Diamondbacks have never faced Jordan he has a big advantage and we like the 24 yr old to have a good start. We will also be playing the Cubs first 5 as we look for a wire to wire Cubs victory with a few crooked numbers along the way.

So lets get the job done with the Chicago Cubs.
