(4%) UNDER Miami/New England. Everyone saw Miami get into a shootout with the Chargers. They also saw the Patriots play a relatively high-scoring affair against the Eagles. Those results have helped in providing us with a generously high O/U line. While there's always relatively stingy defensively, the Pats don't have the same type of high-powered offense that the Chargers do. They're going to want to slow things down and keep the Dolphins off the field, as much as possible. Tyreke Hill had a huge Week 1 game. While he'll get his catches, he's not going to come close to matching last week. Note that New England's Jonathan Jones has historically done a really good job of covering him. Even if he is unable to go, the Pats tend to do a good job at slowing down an opponent's #1 offensive weapon. On the other side, the Miami defense should fare better than it did last week. Last year's first meeting between these teams had an O/U line of 46.5 but it finished with only 27 points. The second game finished with 44. That makes it five of the past six meetings which have finished with 44 or fewer points. I've got this doing the same. *good at 46 or better.
