Blazers' first-year head coach Trent Dilfer has a fun prospect at quarterback in Jacob Zeno (71-of-84 for 676 yards and five touchdowns through two games), but the rest of the Blazers’ roster still has plenty of holes. UAB has scored 35 points in back-to-back games to open the season, but the Blazers' defense could not slow Georgia Southern down last week. UAB running back Jermaine Brown struggled to get on track with 34 yards rushing on 13 carries, but it looks like Dilfer is comfortable abandoning the run and letting Zeno air it out. Louisiana was tied with Old Dominion at halftime last week, but the Ragin' Cajuns gave up three of the next four touchdowns and lost 38-31. Louisiana out-gained the Monarchs by 66 yards and had a hefty advantage in time of possession, but ODU was simply more efficient with the ball. Cajuns' quarterback Ben Wooldridge was very solid in the loss, accounting for three touchdowns. Neither team is going to put a lot of emphasis on defense. Both teams were involved in high-scoring affairs last week, and we're expecting a similar result in this one.
