Fresno State enters Saturday with the 2nd longest winning streak in the nation at 11 games. We cashed with the Bulldogs as they went on the road and beat Purdue SU in the opener, and we’ll back them again in the short chalk role against the Sun Devils. FSU was not ready to play last week against Eastern Washington, a clear “let down” spot after the Purdue win. That won’t be the case here against an ASU squad dealing with a severely depleted offensive line. With the long list of injuries up front, it’s no surprise that Arizona State has been underwhelming on offense to say the least. After barely getting past Southern Utah to start the season, ASU scored just 15 points with 277 yards of total offense in their loss to Oklahoma State. The defense was a serious concern a season ago and brought in a lot of transfers this past offseason. This game should be a good test for that unit, but the Sun Devils won’t be able to outscore the Bulldogs. Take Fresno State.
