In my opinion, there are two logical ways to attack this game … but I went with the team total here for Arizona. I like Justin Steele in this matchup a lot, despite the fact that his team is 1-2 in his 3 starts against the Diamondbacks … he has allowed just 2 ERs in those starts and has a 1.00 ERA with a 0.778 WHIP. 

Steele has been DOMINANT as of late, and has quickly re-inserted his name in the Cy Young race in the NL, while also continuing to pursue the postseason, fighting with teams like … oh yeah, Arizona! Steele has posted a 0.43 ERA in his L3 starts with a 0.810 WHIP!! His team is 9-1 in his night starts, behind a 3.13 ERA!

As for Arizona, in the L7 games they are averaging just 2.3 runs/game … and hitting just .206 as a squad! They may be 3-1 against the Cubs this season (including a win against Steele), but they are still averaging just 3 runs/game in those outings! 

Steele has held 12 of his L18 opponents under this number as a favorite, including 8 of the L11 against non-divisional opponents. 

You could potentially look at a 1H TT, or CHC on the ML, but I like Arizona’s TTu the best in this situation!
