Recent Play Details

Minnesota is entering Week 2 of a loss as 6/6.5 point favorites against the Buccaneers. In their loss, Kirk Cousins threw for 344 yards, and some would argue it wasn't an excellent performance from both him and the Vikings pass catchers. As much as Cousins and the Vikings need to include the run game, this team will rely heavily on their talented core on the outside. As expected, Justin Jefferson led the way last week with 150 yards on nine receptions, Jordan Addison added 61 yards, and TJ Hockenson caught eight passes on nine targets. 

It's just one week, but the Eagles gave up 316 passing yards to Mac Jones and the Patriots, which could be a cause for concern since that offence isn't known for making big plays. Although it was a 16-point lead, which could be why the Patriots were able to make some plays, the Eagles are a strong team that consistently puts up big points, which causes their opponent to have to throw the ball a ton. With several deep threats available and the Vikes coming off a SU/ATS loss, I expect Cousins to show out tonight on Thursday night football. 

Dating back to last year, cousins has hit the over on this prop in five of his last seven games, putting up 344 (last week), 273 against the Giants, 299 against the Giants, 460 against the Colts and 425 against the Lions.
