49ers +3 v LA Rams

We'll use the Alt Line of +3 here to get a field goal for the 49ers.  We think they'll win straight up as they are -7.5, but taking this Alt Line protects us if they aren't playing great.  The 49ers picked up where they left off from last year by dismantling the Steelers, as they looked great on offense and defense, and their performance puts them as the #1 ranked defense according to PFF.  The 49ers dominated the Rams last year winning both games by a combined score of 55-23, and the 49ers are healthy.  The Rams played great in a win over Seattle, but Seattle's weaknesses on defense and on the offensive line were exploitable.  That shouldn't be the case this week.  We like San Fran to win, but for this parlay we'll take the Alt Line and move it to +3.

Toronto Argonauts -285

This is a rematch of last week where Toronto won at home 39-10, and while the turnaround revenge spot favors MTL, I don't think they have the weapons to pull off the upset.  The Alouettes have lost every game to the best teams in the league (WPG, TOR, BC), and they've lost three straight to those teams by a combined score of 120-52.  Toronto averages 35.2 points per game while MTL averages just 23 points per game.  Toronto is 5-1 ML against MTL this year and last year, and they are 10-1 ML this year with their one loss being the game that starting QB Chad Kelly got hurt.  We'll take Toronto to win.

Red Bull Double Top 10 finish

Max Verstappen has won 10 races in a row, and Perez has finished 6th or better in 8 straight races.  They have the two best cars in Formula 1, they should both be near the top again this week.
