Recent Play Details

The trend is our friend in sports betting and the trend in the NFL to this point is under. (12-4) to the under after one week. Including all three primetime games falling short of the total. The next primetime matchup is here and we are firing away on defense taking center stage once again. 

The Vikings and the Eagles each played in week one games that would have stayed under the posted total for tonight. Philadelphia and New England played to 45 points last week, including a non offensive touchdown. Both MIN and PHI bottom half of the league in plays per game and each averaged 28 seconds in-between snaps or more in kickoff weekend. We project the clock to be running a fair amount and the Vikings defense which ranked third in the NFL last week in opponent yards per play to hold their own against the Eagles offense. 

We also project more conservative play given the short week, plus earlier in the season. Also, neither team went for a fourth down conversion last week and both averaged at least 176 Net Punt Yards, including Minnesota's 228 Net Punt Yards. High total for NFL standards, falls short. Bet under.
