NFL - Miami Dolphins at New England Patriots
Quick Thoughts: Another game where there may be some overreaction to last week's results and I'll take the divisional home dog here. One paper you'd look at the numbers and the fact that Tua put up 466 passing yards and wonder how the Pats are going to slow him down. It might not be easy but this isn't the easiest place to win and travel-wise it's not optimal either travel from the West Coast home before a trip up the East Coast to New England and weather could be a factor as well. Hurricane Lee is expected to hit NE on Friday and Saturday morning but whether it continues in NE through the weekend or remnants of it remains to be seen (expected Sunday weather is only wind gusts of 11-14 MPH). Enough about the forecast, the Dolphins allowed 234 rushing yards in that win over the Chargers with Ekeler and Kelley getting 208 of theme and the Patriots with Elliott and Stevenson have a duo that could help control the possession clock if the Pats can establish the run. Mac Jones isn't Justin Herbert but he may not need to be if the Patriots' defense can cause a similar issue here as they did to Jalen Hurts and the Eagles last Sunday.
The play is New England Patriots +2.5 -110
