Looking to back the Dodgers here as they just keep rolling. The Dodger bats are pounding the cover off the Baseball scoring 6 runs or more in 6 straight games. Over those 6 games they have scored 50 runs or 8.3 Runs per game. The Dodgers send Ryan Pepiot to the mound who has been brilliant in his 2 starts pitching 12 shutout innings. This will be the first time the Padres have seen him giving an added edge. Blake Snell goes for San Diego but even though his ERA is fantastic his team is just 5-9 in his 14 road starts. Between lack of run support and the bullpen doing him no favors Snell hasn’t fared as well as he should. My other concern with Snell is his control over his L3 starts as he has 25K’s but he also has 12 BB’s. If you give that many Free Passes to this Dodger Line up the way they are hitting you are going to be in trouble. Snell generally doesn’t go deep into games so you are going to get to see that over worked Padre bullpen. San Diego pitching has allowed 38 runs in the L4 games. We also find the following:
