Amazing spot play here for the Giants. Off an utterly embarrassing Nationally Televised shutout performance vs the hated Cowboys. With a road Thursday Night Football game at San Francisco on deck. 

The Giants looked very good in the preseason and expectations were high. But this team couldn’t have looked any worse vs the Cowboys. But Dallas is loaded this season, and a real threat to go all the way. The Cardinals are the exact opposite of that. This is a team missing their starting quarterback, and are in clear tank mode this season. They looked pretty good last week and still found a way to lose.

Thursday road games have been a place where teams go to die. The players hate them, and the coaching staffs despise them. It’s just not enough time to prepare a solid game plan, and for the body to bounce back. Add in the fact that the team has to travel. Add in the situation of an East Coast team traveling to a West Coast city, and we can’t think of a higher must win situation this early in the year.
