There are different prices on this play.  I played this on BetMGM at -200, and ties pay out in full.  On Betonline.ag this play is -185, but they use dead heat rules.  Most of the time, I play the finishing positions on books that pay out in full on ties.  BetMGM is the domestic book that pays out on ties, and Bovada is the book that pays out on ties on the offshores.  If you don't have the domestics, play it on Betonline or another book that has a price less than -200 that uses dead heat rules.

Max Homa is the best golfer in this field, and he's won this tournament two years in a row. Homa is a California guy, and he loves the grass and courses in California and this is in Napa Valley and he obviously loves it here.  He has the best strokes gained in the field, and he's the only golfer to finish top 10 here two years in a row, both finishes were wins. He also finished the season with five finishes of 13th or better, and those were in loaded fields.  The quality of the field really falls off a cliff, and just to show how much it falls off a cliff, Homa won this tournament last year shooting -16.  The 21st finishing position shot -9 so he was seven shots better than the closest outside the top 20.  The year before that, he shot -19 as the winner, and that was nine shots better than the closest outside the top 20 (-10).  Even if he doesn't win, he'll be in the hunt on Sunday and even though -200 sounds like a lot of juice, it probably ends up being a bargain.
