Ottawa/B.C over 44.5 THIS PLAY IS GOOD TO 46.5 any higher is a NO PLAY.
CFL Week 15 wraps up with an action-packed game featuring the B.C. Lions hosting the Ottawa Redblacks. The Redblacks are on a six-game losing streak, but they've played in high-scoring games in those losses. Their offence has done its part, but their defence has consistently let them down, and I don't see it getting better anytime soon. In seven of Ottawa's last eight games, they've given up at LEAST 25 points, giving up big plays each time out and allowing opposing Q.B.'s plenty of time to make plays. Despite coming off a loss with no passing touchdowns against Hamilton, Ottawa QB Dustin Crum threw for 264 yards, Devonte Williams had 17 carries for 146 rushing yards, and eight players caught a pass. Things have been frustrating lately for Ottawa, but not if you've been betting totals in their games.
B.C. is off a bye week, which should help them big time, but before their bye week, they could have looked more impressive defensively like they had to start the year. The Lions surrendered 25 points to the Alouettes in their last game, and in the previous week, they were upset against Hamilton, losing outright and giving up a whopping 30 points.
Off a bye week, B.C. has been incredibly successful; they always seem to use their time off and come back with an exploding offence that looks sharp and in sync. The Lions have a solid ATS record off a bye but also a record of putting up points in bunches, especially when playing at home. When playing teams with a .500 or worse record, the Lions have put up a ton of points. This list includes the Alouettes, the Elks and the Roughriders.
This total number is set this way due to the expectation of the Lions defence, but I'm confident both teams can put points on the board and trade points all night long. These are two inconsistent defences, but offences that show up each week. With a team like the Lions that has put up 25 or 30 points many times this year, we should see fireworks when these teams go at it.Play the OVER.
