Tennessee …

• Was on of the best teams LY on the teaser line despite their plummet at the end of the season. They get New Orleans to start the season, a division rival, and historically divisional week 1 games are not very high scoring, staying under nearly 55% of the time since 2017. I think New Orleans has a shot to win this game, but Tennessee has a lot of potential to start the season. New Orleans is one of the oldest teams in the league and are relying HEAVILY on players 30+. They have struggled to fill the corner position opposite Lattimore, and their offense will obviously be without check-down option Alvin Kamara. Derek Carr hasn’t shown my anything in LV to make me think a change of scenery is going to turn things around now. I think Tennessee has a lot of potential on offense here, and IF they don’t cover the normal spread, I don’t foresee a way they take a L by more than a TD.

Washington …

• There really isn’t a question when it comes to the opposition, Arizona has issues on top of issues, ESPECIALLY on the defensive side. Along with the question mark at the helm of the offense under center, take it from a Browns fan, there has to be a few better options than Dobbs out there. While I do like what Washington is doing, and has done, I still have some slight hesitations with them. I think they win this game, but I am hesitant to lay 7 with the Commanders against anyone, so pairing them with the Titans is my top look at a teaser this weekend.
