Cincinnati (6:30PM ET The CW) – We’re going to do something slightly different this College Football season which I think will improve our already solid CFB bottom line and go with a “late add” here when the Cincinnati Bearcats hit the road to battle the Pittsburgh Panthers at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
This is no different than any other season other than I’m going to go back to giving myself additional time on high volume days to lock additional games in. That might mean you need to check your “MY PLAYS” tab or your email throughout the day but this already produced a winner in Week 0 with FIU and I think we end up with another cash here. This one is more about the number coming back to us as I missed +7 earlier in the week and didn’t want to play this missing a key number. Plenty of +7’s back out there now (I laid -115) and I’m going to jump in as additional respected money has hit this side including in the 1st quarter and 1st half markets.
The handicap here revolves around my preseason opinion of Pitt, I think the Panthers are overvalued and could struggle offensively which is going to make it difficult for them to win games against formidable competition by more than a touchdown. Pitt was able to run it up against FCS Wofford but I think the Panthers struggle to move the ball consistently against a very good Cincinnati front seven.
The total of this game sits in the mid 40’s (low for a college football game) which suggests points will be at a premium here. I think Cincinnati quarterback Emory Jones can make enough plays to keep the Bearcats in this game and I’ll take my chances getting the key number of +7 here. Play on Cincinnati +7 (-115) for 4% (or 4 units)
