Alabama visited Texas as a 3-TD road favorite in Week 2 last season, and needed a 33-yard field goal in the closing seconds to escape Austin with a 20-19 win. I expect that last season's scare against the Longhorns has gotten Nick Saban's full attention for this one.
While Alabama is 13-2-1 ATS in non-conference, Power-5 games, Texas is 0-3 SU and ATS as a road underdog since Steve Sarkisian took the reins in 2021. And I'm sure you're aware of Saban's excellent track record against former staffers.
Texas QB Quinn Ewers was hit quite often by Rice last Saturday, and the Owls recorded three sacks. That definitely does not bode well for that Texas offensive line, as they now have to block this Alabama front. Good luck. Roll Tide!
