The Cubs host the Mets tonight and are looking for the series sweep, which will be aided by the appearance of Carlos Carrasco on the mound. Carrasco has been getting shelled left, right and centre in his first four games with an 8.68 ERA. It’s not like he’s played good teams either; the only tough matchup he had was against the Brewers; other than that, he’s faced Oakland, Miami, and Cleveland, some of the worse offences in the Majors. The Cubs have been hitting well so far, averaging 4.8 runs per game and ranking in the top 10 in all major batting statistics. Veteran righty Kyle Hendricks gets his first season start for the Cubs, who have an excellent 3.46 career ERA. This will be a walk in the park for the Cubs.
