The Seattle Mariners are 13-2 in their last 15 home games against left-handed starters and they are facing a vulnerable southpaw on Wednesday night. JP Sears is 0-3 on the year with a 4.99 ERA. Seattle starter has been much more consistent with a 2-2 record and 3.81 ERA. Gilbert has already faced Oakland in early May and held them to two earned runs in six innings of work. He is backed by a bullpen that ranks 3rd with a 3.07 ERA. Meanwhile the Athletics pen ranks dead last with a 6.53 ERA. The Mariners also have a superior lineup and with advantages as the A's struggle against right-handed pitching. With advantages across the board, the Mariners will cruise to another run line victory.
