A very hittable pitcher takes the mound Thursday evening as the Cubs and Mets finish up their series from Wrigley Field. Carlos Carrasco gave up 5 earned to one of the worst offenses in the league in his past start. It’s been a very poor 2023 for Carrasco, as he’s given up at least 5 earned in 3 of his 4 trips to the bump. When you break down his analytics, all of them are either below average or downright horrible. His barrel% is extremely high, he has a wOBA of .368, and his strikeout to walk ratio is awful as well.
