Greek soccer is a tragedy, and the events leading up to this final are too many and too weird to even try to explain (trust me, I am a Greek living in Greece). This is a Cup final between two teams that also met in the final (in the same venue) where all hell broke loose. 

In a more serious note, AEK won the league title and are the better team, but they have a HORRIBLE record when playing against PAOK in Cup matches (7 losses, 1 draw). 

PAOK always get the best of AEK when these two meet in Cup matches, with PAOK eliminating AEK in the QFs in 2021/22, in the SFs in 2020/21, PAOK beat AEK in THREE consecutive finals (2017, 2018 and 2019).

PAOK have AEK's number when it comes to Cup matches, and not only do they win, but they also win within 90 minutes (PAOK ML is +325 right now). 

However, there are several stats that are missing from this match-up, and they are soon to be corrected. All 4 matches between these two in the season produced ZERO draws. We didn't see a Draw in any of L6 cup finals between them. PAOK outright won the last 3, with AEK winning three in a row prior to that (but over a decade ago).
