Making this a 1st 5 Inning Play as I love the pitching match up. James Paxton makes his 3rd start of the season and he has been spectacular in his 1st 2 games. In 11 innings he’s allowed just 3 runs while posting 14-3 K/BB ratio. He went 5 innings in his 1st start and 6 innings in the 2nd start as they continue to stretch out his workload. Tyler Anderson goes for the Angels and in 8 starts his ERA is 5.27 and in his 3 home starts his ERA is 7.20 with a WHIP of 1.73. Anderson is a lefty and Boston is 12-5 vs lefties this year averaging 5.8 RPG. By making this a 1st 5 Inning Wager we take the Bullpens out of the equation. We also find the following:
