FINNs TUESDAY AMERICAN LEAGUE TOP TOTAL - O's at Yankees Game Total Over 7.5 (-113)
3% game rating
Starting Pitchers: Bradish and Cole will be listed by the books on this total position
Home Plate Umpire: David Rackley is the scheduled home plate umpire. Last season I mentioned that I had rated Rackley as the top umpire to hunt for Over-the-Total investments. He remains an umpire with a smallish Kzone and gives the hitters the freedom to take close pitches even with two strikes. This isn't necessarily a burden for Cole but for Bradish, it will be an issue. The O's righthander needs some assistance in getting a ball called a strike once or twice in his starts to be over-the-top effective. He won't get that from Rackley and even Cole is subject to getting a strike called a ball tonight in the house that Ruth “sort of” Built.
Weather: Cool temperatures for a late May event in the Big Apple. The first-pitch forecast calls for temps in the high-50s with no precip expected. A light wind will blow in from right-centerfield.
The Orioles are in good form offensively and while the Yankees are a bloop and bomb lineup playing Over the 7.5 is a high-probability position and one I expect to cash tonight.
The Pick to Click tonight in the Bronx is a play Over the Total of 7.5 runs.
