Texas may be the main reason that I like this total, but the fact that Andrew Heaney and Connor Seabold on the mound opens up the opportunity for both offenses.
Seabold has posted a 5.02 ERA on the year, and has gone over the total in all 3 starts. While Heaney has a long list of over trends … 6-2 OU on the year, 4-1 OU @ H (6.66 ERA), and 13-2 OU after giving up 1 run or less in his last start.
When you look as Texas as a team though … 14-7 OU @ H this season and have gone over the total in 11 of their 15 inter-league games. The Rangers are putting up 8+ runs/game during the day! Plus, they are following up a big offensive performance with a repeat … going 7-2-1 OU after putting up 10+ runs, putting up over 7 runs themselves … not to mention when they play the same team again, averaging nearly 10 runs/game!
