The Rockies are one of the worst teams in baseball this season, but if there's any team that knows what to expect from Jon Gray, it's the team that he played with for seven seasons. Gray has enjoyed a nice start to this season, but he's got a 4.76 ERA with a 1.53 WHIP at home. Not exactly shut-down stuff. Three of his eight starts have come against the 10-36 Oakland A's and the 19-25 Cincinnati Reds. A fourth start came against the Mariners, who are 29th in batting average entering Saturday, and you probably already saw our notes on their offense this season. He certainly hasn't faced a murderer's row of opponents. Colorado is the road team guaranteed to get nine at-bats.
