Offense certainly hasn’t been a problem during a tough road trip that will conclude for the Rays on Thursday. Tampa has scored 31 runs in their past 4 games as they continue to lead the league in most statistical categories on offense. They’ll look to put up a crooked number against Tylor Megill, whose analytics suggest he’s due for regression. Megill has a 5.24 FIP on the season with a terrible chase rate. He doesn’t strike out a lot of batters and is issuing way too many walks. Meanwhile, Taj Bradley enters this start with a FIP that’s almost a full run lower than his ERA. Bradley has great strikeout stuff and is only walking 3.3% of the batters he faces. Bradley only has 3 starts at the major league level this season, but we have the starting pitching edge to go along with this powerful offense at a good price. Take the Rays.
